It’s official. Carrie Prejean is the new Anita Bryant.

The Washington Blade visited a presser for the National Organization for Marriage today where Maggie Gallagher and Carrie Prejean spoke.
Enough said. Perhaps she speaks for herself and her homophobic church. Not the state of California.

It is such a tragedy when a public figure such as Prejean and Anita Bryant, by virtue of being IN the Miss USA competition, has a duty to represent ALL of America, regardless of their stance on minor social issues. She should have never been rewarded the crown after her answer on Gay marriage. I hope that 2009′s generation of Gay men, myself included, will rally in support to STOP this woman before she causes the degree of damage Miss Bryant caused in the 1970s and 1980s
