Honestly, I applaud Miss Prejean’s courage to speak what’s in her mind, exercising her right to freedom of speech. On the other hand, freedom of speech comes with responsibility. Although she never bucked down on what she stood for, she should have been ready to deal with the consequences and she should realize that there’s going to be a lot of it. What? After she uttered her belief against gay marriage that everything would be ok and she would get away it? I don’t think so. Welcome to the real world, bitch.
As much as she has the right to blurt out what’s in her head, the Miss USA organization also has the right to terminate her if they believe she doesn’t meet the standards of a beauty title holder as a result of her belief.
YOU CAN’T JUSTIFY IGNORANCE BY INVOKING THE RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
The morale of this story is simple. Think first before you say something stupid!

Edward, You took the words right out of my mouth here. You’re absolutely right. This time, it’s not about her views about marriage equality. She got fired because of her work ethics, it is a simple as that.
In addition, emails leaked by the Miss USA Pageant organizers reveals that she’s a diva, in short, her head has become as big or bigger than her implants.
She did not comply with the terms of her contract. So now, she’s free to do whatever she wants. I mean NOM is probably drooling all over the prospect of her as their spokesperson for opposite marriage.
