Minnesota Supreme Court declares Al Franken the winner

Al FrankenOver six months and millions of dollars later Al Franken has finally been declared the winner over Norm Coleman by the Minnesota Supreme Court. Minnesota’s second Senate seat has remained open since last year’s bitterly contested election. Watch:

It is unclear if Coleman will appeal to federal court.

    Thank goodness this can now be put aside and now let’s see what the Democrats in the Senate can do with pro-gay legislation. http://indeclaration.wordpress.com/2009/06/30/its-about-franken-time/ It’s time we hold them accountable to us. Afterall, with 60 votes, we should be able to block the filibuster against us.
