Hey Joe!

Nice to see you!

I'd be surprised, except I drove through (as quickly as possible) a number of southern states after living in Cleveland for 4ish months, back during and shortly after 911. My son is biracial and he faced crap and so did his step-dad and I.... Either he was 'acting' too white, or 'we' were just stepping on toes all over the place...

I was aghast at the levels of prejudice I experienced ALL THE TIME!!! It was constant, any time we were together in public...

I used to think the central valley (think Modesto) was extremely prejudiced, but, in reality? Not so much, and here in the Bay Area, even less...

I am NOT, by any means, saying that there ISN'T prejudicial behavior here. I AM saying that it is MUCH better HERE, than back East, or South...

So, let's continue to fight racism, at home and then abroad. Someday, we won't 'have' this issue... I think (and hope) that in my lifetime, there WILL BE equality for all people!

Keep up the good work!
