This is a huge step in the fight for equality. There have been and still many reported crimes made against the LGBT community here and abroad. When we met Judy Shepard last weekend, she said that this is a big success but that the work has just begun. We still have ENDA, DOMA, and DADT (in no order) that needs to be passed and/or overturned.
But for now, this calls for a celebration. Thanks for this post.
