In a recently published interview, Mexican Cardinal Javier Barragan said “Transexuals and homosexuals will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven, it’s not me who says it but St. Paul.” From Reuters:
Asked if people were born homosexual Barragan, whose comments were posted on a conservative Catholic website called www.pontifex.roma,it, was quoted as saying:
“One is not born homosexual but they become that way. This is for various reasons: education, for not having developed their identity during their adolescence, maybe they are not guilty but by going against the dignity of the body they certainly will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.”
“Everything that goes against nature and against the dignity of the body offends God,” he added.
The now retired Vatican official has already been rebuked by his former employer, seeking to distance themselves and the Pope from his statement, while citing the same tired “hate the sin, love the sinner” refrain. Italy’s biggest gay rights groups called the remarks as more “ridiculous theories about sexuality and the dignity of the person.”

Bull crap!
How would this cardinal know that homosexuality isn’t innate unless he’s homosexual and chose it?
Why would “homosexual” people or Eunuch’s through out history become what they are in order to be constantly persecuted and hated by people like this cardinal? Gotta Clue?

People are born “gay” “homosexual” “eunuch” or what ever label people need to place in order to identify. The bible has nothing but praise for the Natural Born Eunuch’s of the time before the Church started to persecute them because they became a threat to the Church.
In ancient times there were two types of Eunuch’s. There were the Natural Born Eunuch, who had all their body parts, and there were the castrated Eunuch’s. In earlier references were castration is mentions Eunuchs are not, and were Eunuchs ARE mentioned castration isn’t throughout the Bible (45 Old Testament verses, 2 New Testament chapters). Eunuches are Natural Born people with all their body parts who have no interest in women.
(Stromata 3.1.1):
“Some men by birth have a nature to turn away from women, and those who are subject to this natural constitution do well not to marry [speaking of women]. These, they say, are the eunuchs by birth.”
The Church started attacking the Eunuch’s because they sided with Aryan Christian’s instead of the Nicean Christian’s who believed that Jesus was the son through Immaculate Conception. In order to destroy the Eunuch the Church had to come up with all kinds of way’s to do it, as they are doing once again…and if you don’t believe the church is capable of these acts in order to stay in power over the people then I’d suggest some educating. The Malleus Maleficarum has to some great information on what the church is capable of.

Eunuch of the time had the same stereotypical characteristics as Homosexual do today. Where as the castrated Eunuch retained their characteristics, and were not trusted.

When I was little and didn’t really know or understand who or what I was, I would constanly be bullied and tormented and my mother would say “Their just jealous” and i would reply “Of What?”
Well guess what my mother was right-people are so intimadated by strong people. And if I had to do it all over again-Please God make me gay.
It amazes me that all these freaks in the name of God-teach hatred, intolerance and bigotry. The one little fact you all forget is that God created each and everyone of us in his/her liking. And what they saw they loved-so you can all preach till your blue-my God loves me with all my faults and I chose to love each and every individual for who-and what they may believe.
And for all you hetero hatemongers. It is a statiscal fact that most child abusers are heterosexual men-not gay men. So stop trying to place your sexual dsyfunctions onto us and look in your own back yard-how many fathers abuse their daughters-or uncles their neices and nephews-ask anyone who’s had their child sexually molested who did it and it’s closer to home than most of you want to admit.
God walked amongst the lepers-god befriended prostitutes. Why not try being more God like and you might see that all humans (gay or straight) have something good to offer this world.
And what about the churches teaching when I was young that divorce was not something you did- you were excommunicated from the church. The sanctity of marriage-please you all screwed that one up like no tomorrow. What do the words “Until death do us part mean in your vows” Now all a days you need is a family member who knows a priest and viola your marriage is annualled. Why are not preists being more strict on the sanctity of marriage. Becuase there out their screwing you kids and keeping a lid on it. I give my vote to the straight guy in California who is trying to get a proposition passed that all divorce should be illegal. And those of you who read this and laugh saying it will never happen-don’t be too sure-everything in life changes. Why do you all waste all this negative energy on hating people you don’t even know-I always say you never know what hand maybe extended to help you-with a job, with family crisis-with a shoulder to cry on, in an emergency to save you or someone you love. Gay men and woman want the same things you do-respect-someone to love-family-and friends they can depend on. I am truly blessed with the family and friends who have always been there. You all deny us the human right to love whomever we chose-and to have that loved reconignized as valid just like yours when you all make a mockery of marriage-24 hours and the marriage annualled. How very sad is that. What I find so utterly amazing is that when you ask a heterosexual male or female this simply question “When you woke up one morning and began to understand your sexual desires did you think Oh I think I’ll be straight” No you stupid morons you didn’t you just were-well guess what so did we. And what really blows my mind is that the cardinal from Mexico teaches hatred intorlerance for another human life ( gay or straight) in the name of the lord and people follow that. SHAME SHAME ON YOU ALL. The next time you all chose to preach hate to your children-friends-or fellow followers think about let he who cast the first stone be without sin. Iknow God would be extremely disappointed in you all.

What needs to happen is the legal definition of “Natural Eunuch” reinstated. It was erased by the Church for to gain more power over the people. With this reinstatement, much current confusion of the issue (Biblical or otherwise) would be put permenatly to rest.
