Many of us missed this particular video in the run up to Prop 8 and is perhaps one of the most offensive, with high production value appealing to young voters. This video among others was presented as evidence in court today. Watch:

Amazing (and I don’t mean in a “good” way) – in it’s tactic and it’s presentation. Clearly this ad was developed with the assistance of a tuned-in marketing company that knew how to produce a spot that would appeal from a visual/pace/message aspect without sounding like a church sermon. I think that the “yes on 8″ contingent utilized this as one of a two-pronged tactic (the other being the more “preachy” approach). I do believe that in the fight for equality, we too must consider using different methods and messages to appeal to a broader range of people. I loathe the message in this ad and see through it quite clearly, but many will not – that is effective advertising. We need to think like this going forward so we can get our message out and have it resonate!

Agree with Mark. Yes, the ad is effective and technically good. The message is the issue… Obama needs to stand up on this issue like so many others.
